http://askubuntu.com – I am using the pre-installed timetracking software in Ubuntu 12.04 and 10.04 which I believe is identical to Hamster. I need to use the feature to create create HTML reports of my work regularly. I noticed the design/template of the reports have changed drastically in the two different versions. How can I change the way reports look in the new version back to how they looked in the old one (or something close)? The old version is 2.30.2 The new version is 2.91.3+git20110714.9aefd7 (according to apps.ubuntu.com) Thanks alot (HowTos)

I've just installed Ubuntu for a few days in dual-mode with win7. In Ubuntu, I opened some MS Office 2007 files and wrote reports. After I enter win7 again and open these reports, they all crashed and cannot be displayed or many slides were missing, became blank

I had saved all files in Office formats already. The fact is they still crash.

Hai, So far we are using oracle 10g db and oracle forms and reports 6i in windows environment. I want to switch over to the linux clients. Pl. guide me to convert the client from windows to linux. How to install oracle forms and reports 6i in linux. I am having two different linux versions RHEL 2.6.9 and ubuntu 10.0 versions.

I just submitted bug reports about a anjuta issue. Multiple times the same bug report, because I had the impression that the submission failed. After clicking on submit bug, it took several minutes. One time it showed a proxy error as result. Now the same bug report is submitted four times :doh:

I'm not sure though if it's really a epiphany issue. Maybe anyone else can test this as well.

On a fresh started system, free reports about 1.5G used RAM (8G RAM alltogether, Ubuntu 12.04 with lightdm and plasma desktop, one konsole window started). Having the apps running I use, it still consumes not more than 2G.

I would like to upgrade to the latest version of Cinnamon. I'm running Linux Mint 13 in a virtual machine. Everywhere I look, I see the same instructions:

> sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gwendal-lebihan-dev/cinnamon-stable > sudo apt-get update > sudo apt-get install cinnamon

When I do that, apt-get install reports that "cinnamon is already the newest version".

OS: Oneiric, 11.10 32-bit Banshee Version: 2.2.1 Ipod: 5th Gen Nano, 8GB version 1.0.2 PC

Problem: When attempting to sync my music library with my Ipod, Banshee reports "Track duration is zero" errors for each episode of one or two specific podcasts.

I moved the templates out to external files for the HTML report in git master. Check them out here Templates can be overridden from $HOME/.local/share/hamster-applet/ So now it is possible to customize the report if you have been using to generate invoices and such.

While working hard in Randa, I implemented a feature that will make everyone happy: automatic backup of your project file! We had a few reports on the forum of broken project files that were not recoverable. This is not a frequent issue, but losing all the work you have done on a video editing project is not fun!
