Guys, i am running latest waldorf build, and I'm really pleased with it.But, I am having a issue,The time zone I've set in windows is +5:30 (IST), and i have set the same in crunchbang. The problem is that, crunchbang is considering the time in windows as +0 and shows +5:30 more in crunchbang.
Since I started using Linux in 2000, I've been running all my systems with the BIOS clock set to UST time and just let the OS handle the time zone difference. I remember reading that it was the recommended way to have it set, although I also remembering not understanding why. It's just the way I've done it for years and years.
I create an event on the calendar, and the default time zone is GMT (currently +1). All time settings on the phone are GMT or automatically found via location, however, every entry gives a sub-text showing Pacific time, and when you go back to edit the entry it has defaulted to Pacific time and even illustrates the adjusted times, as if they were set this way originally.
Hi, I have a strange problem with regards to the system time.
I am situated in Mumbai, India, which is +5.30 hours time zone (no daylight savings). I have windows xp installed on one hard drive and Ubuntu 12.10 installed on the other hard drive (installed each OS disconnecting the other hard drive; Use the boot menu using F12 to boot into each OS).
I have 2 domain controllers, that are NOT on the same forest (they are on the same network though)
I am trying to have both of them sync from the same time sync server (time.windows.com) so times will be approx the same.
I have a major off set of about 30 seconds between them, already when I click:
w32tm /stripchart /computer:time.windows.com /samples:5 /data
I run this command with half a s
