With chromium testing, when I try to open the settings page (and some others), it never completes loading. I just see the headings for History, Extensions, Settings and Help, but no details and the 'page loading' graphic on the tab remains animated. This is the terminal output from a clean profile:Debug message from helper: Module loop inserted!

I aim new to Ubuntu coming from Fedora 14-LXDE.
I tried first Lubuntu 11.10 and now I have peppermint two on my acer aspire one L110 Z5; 512MBRAM; 8GB SSD; yesterday under peppermint I upgraded the base OS, which was LUBUNTU 11.04 to 11.10 With LUBUNTU 11.04 Thunderbird worked well.
However, with LUBUNTU 11.10 either as OS or under peppermint environment it stopped working.
After booting in both

Hello,
when starting the thunderbird on my brand new 12.10 installation (installed from scratch), the xserver is rebooting.
This is from from .xsession-errors:

Hello.
when using Thunderbird - if i Use the word 'attached' / 'attachment' in an email, thunderbird will give me a big warning when I try & send the email (if i have not actually attached anything).
Is there a way in thunderbird to create our own warnings ?

Good night. The title is self-explanatory: I'm trying to set my emails on thunderbird but I keep getting the same error message: "Thunderbird failed to find the settings for your email account." I saw another thread of two people with the same problem but I couldn't find the solution to this problem. I'm sure I'm writting correctly my profiles. Thanks for your help.
