Thunar Trash

http://crunchbanglinux.org – I'm working on an external USB HDD in Thunar. The /media/MOUNT folder now contains a ".Trash-1000" folder. I removed it with Shift-Del, created a dummy file and deleted it, and the folder re-appeared, so it's definitely created by Thunar. I've done some searching, but I can't find a way to empty the trash from within Thunar. Any ideas? Why would this feature not be included? I know I can go to "Go | Trash" and delete the files from there, but that's a clumsy solution. (HowTos)
