Thunar requires real files as templates, not symlinks

view story

http://crunchbang.org – This is an unexpected behavior in Thunar: The templates must reside in the ~/templates folder. The problem is that they must be real files, not symlinks.- If ~/templates is a symlink to another folder (for instance ~/Dropbox/templates). No templates will appear.- If ~/templates/somedoc is a symlink to a file (for instance ~/Dropbox/templates/somedoc) the template will appear but will create a symlink instead of the actual file o_O.So far the only way to fix it is editing ~/.config/user-dirs.dirs to change the template location, but that's not precisely a solution.
