I created this thread and somebody moved it to "The Community Cafe".

Glad to hear it's working. In order to mark your thread as solved, simply edit your original post and add [SOLVED] to the subject line.

No problem & welcome to arch.edit: you may want to edit the title of your initial post to "[SOLVED] No Wired Connection After Installation".

I am still getting used to the new look of the forum , which I must add is quite nice.
But I noticed that in the "thread tools" drop down menu , there is no 'Mark As Solved' . Does that option no longer exist ? If so , what procedure should I follow to indicate that my query is solved ?
adubschavy, you mark your own threads as solved, when you feel they are, by clicking "edit" on your first post which allows you to edit the title and prepend "[Solved]"

I know this probably is a really doofy question, but how do I post a thread as "Solved"? Like, after people have responded to (for example) a "Xubuntu" based thread, and have solved my issue, how do I turn the thread from "Xubuntu" to "Solved"?
You can/should just mark the thread as solved by clicking edit on your initial post and prepending [SOLVED] to the title.
