Okay so I have a two part question. Just started playing a week ago.
Question 1:
Is there an easier way to find unclaimed portals other than zooming in on the intel map and taking a shot in the dark?
Question 2:
When you send in a Portal Suggestion, and if it's approved after the 4-6 weeks.
Is it automatically yours?
Hej out there,
I'm developing a geolocation based game. A map with markers is one of the core components of it.
LocalResponse just announced a new way for its customers to target their ads.
Previously, the startup’s advertisers could reach audiences based on social network activity — for example, after someone checked in to a specific store, they could be targeted with ads that were relevant while in the store.
svenstaro fired in a report that the Portalized project has made quite a lot of progress since last we mentioned it: it now features improved portals, portal-though-portal lighting, improved graphics and better physics!
I'm adding dynamically a non-fixed amount of markers in a map, which each of them are related to one instance of my POCO class.
I need to link them so when the user clicks on one of the markers, I show the rest of the data inside the custom InfoWindow.
What do you suggest?
PS: I add new markers everytime the user pans or zooms the map and I worried about overloading the app.
We have a subdomain (https://portal.company.com) that is the alias for a different hostname (defined in a CNAME record).
This dynamic DNS hostname (https://portal.dlinkddns.com) resolves to the public (dynamic) IP address of our office. At the office, the router is configured to forward port 443 to a server running a (Spiceworks) web portal that the staff can access from home.
Can't believe its here. After teasing us for a long time, Stabyourself.net has released their much awaited game Mari0.
Mari0 is a mashup of Nintendo's Super Mario Bros. and Valve's Portal.
