I am not sure if this is the best sub for my question... I hope though that the mods can help me move the thread to appropriate place if I misplace it.
I am currently in a operating system class, and I have a question related to thread switching and save the previous thread when switch.
I have a 100 - 240v ac to 5v DC switching adapter. Is it possible to intercept the voltage just after the rectifier and get 120v dc. I have read different things, the consensus seems to be that switching adapters rectify 120vac to 120vdc then run it through a transformer to drop it to the needed voltage, then through some filtering and regulation.
I have returned to American from studying in the UK for a year. I brought my I9100 with me, and I purchased it in the UK on the Vodafone network.
Now that I am back, I went to AT&T to get a SIM and start using my old saved number. They let me try putting one of their SIM's in my phone before I purchased, and it locked onto H+ data. Great I thought!
