Is there a CalDav client with email alert support on Ubuntu server?

http://askubuntu.com – Assume I had an Ubuntu Server with a CalDav server (in my case this is ownCloud 3), but the server didn't allow sending of calendar events by email to me. I'm looking to install a CalDav client, on the same server (must be command line driven), which I can subscribe to the CalDav server (on the same server), which will send out email alerts to me on events I put in there. Any client as such available? (HowTos)

I installed the calendarserver package which provided me with a working instance of the Darwin Calendar and COntacts Server, a CalDAV and CardDAV server.

The CalDAV part seems to be working okay. I can create accounts and share calendars between multiple devices.

I am unable to connect to the CardDAV server to share contacts.

My script is about sending notfication email, and it was running well on my local machine, but when I removed it to an server 2k3, the email cannot be sent out with below error log:

Exception calling "Send" with "1" argument(s): "The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated.

Outlook 2003 Not Sending eMail 1 year 15 weeks ago

I have a client who has recently developed a problem with Outlook.

When attempting to send an email by clicking the send button, nothing happens. After a while, the email is saved to the Drafts folder, but nothing else, the email is not placed in the Outbox.

Clicking send and receive, gets any email from the server that is on there.

I have a Synology Diskstation NAS which runs WebDAV / CalDAV.

It's a server which listens at https://. It uses a self-signed cert. So, each time when I access it, I will be prompted to trust this untrusted site. However, I always get the following error in the server log.
