I can create a project but when I go and try to build it I get this dialog:
And if I select any thing from that dropdown (which I am guessing then tries to open a file browse dialog) the application blows up. Odd thing is there are file browse dialogs elsewhere in the application that work fine.

Hello all: I have updated from 16 to 17 and many things do not work any more! devede, gnomemplayer vlcplayer. When I try to update the above I recieve a large string of missing/errors/dependencies. Here is the print out. Where do I start to resolve this issue/issues.
I have installed 14.04 and all the updates. I have also install other s/w packages. I have installed ubuntu restricted extras. When I try to install DeVeDe it tells me that two packages must be removed. Libav codec library and movie player for unix like systems. Then it gives me the option of installing anyway??? How should I proceed?
The disk i have cannot store the file i am trying to burn, because, it's to big. Thus, I need to make it so that it splits it on to 2 disks, or more, however many it needs.
The problem is, how to i get devede to do that? i cant find an option whioch allows me to do that
Linux Journal: "DeVeDe is an application that converts various video file formats into a disc that can be played in a DVD player. Other applications and tool chains can be coaxed into doing this but DeVeDe has the advantage of being a dedicated utility that has been designed for a single function."
If you try to install DeVeDe it will fail missing Dejave-font-compat which it seems has been discontinued in F12 I've filled a bug report against it with Bugzilla, bug number 533336. Maybe someone will add it back to the Fedora repo.
