Hi
My question relates to Lubuntu 13.04. I simply want to add a couple of new quick launcher applets into the panel. E.g Firefox but I can't seem to do it. I can drag firefox on to the desktop but not to the panel. I tried looking in panel proerties etc and while theres the option to add applets Firefox is not listed.
In Ubuntu 11.04 Unity, you might prefer the left launcher bar but dislike the searching-style app menu in top-panel. Mac-like dock has classic app menu but there also has many useless shortcut icons that already shown in left launcher bar.
Although we cannot replace the top-panel with the classic gnome-panel, there’s a classic start menu can be added onto left launcher bar.
Hi,
I started using Gnome 3 and loved it but its just no good at multitasking. Finding windows in the top left corner thing is impossible when you have a lot of windows open. I need my bottom panel back.
I've installed frippery bottom panel but wow does it look bad!
So i updated the system... after that, the bottom panel broke.I tried to delete and add a new panel, but it didn't work.
Hi all,
I'm a newbie. I've installed 12.04 on my desktop PC and the icons do not appear in the launcher or panel by default. The icons will appear in the panel if I hover over them, but I have to find them first. Apps can be started from the launcher, but again, I can't see the icons first.
Anybody else had this issue?
Any thoughts on this would be very much appreciated.
