http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hey guys, I was searching for a nice GB Rom for my Ray, but I have a locked bootloader :( So I was wondering, is there a cool rom for locked bootloader? Cause i really don't want ICS... (And someone ported MIUI for locked bootloader, but the ICS version, is this possible to put MIUI GB into a locked bootloader?) Thanks ! :) (HowTos)

Basically, After performing the S-off and flashing JB 1.50 together, It doesnt show weither the bootloader is locked or not anymore. How do you tell if it is locked?

Can the bootloader be locked while on a different Hboot?

This isnt causing any problems yet, But I am curious about this now. :confused:

Hi all, I've got myself a carrier branded and locked SK17a (Mini Pro). I want to unlock the bootloader to install a couple of custom roms, but I was wondering if sim unlocking the phone would change the bootloader unlockability to yes.

I did a quick search and didn't see anything so sorry if this is a repeat. My friend has the VZW Note II and I used ExynosAbuse to root it for him. He's planning on unlocking the bootloader later on but I wanted to check one thing. Will removing bloatware do anything to the phone while the bootloader is still locked?

So, here we go!!

1) Is This ROM work for Locked Bootloader? No

2) Will work for Locked Bootloader? No.

  The second I saw this story on the XDA thread, I envisioned many Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III users giving Verizon the proverbial middle finger. This locked bootloader issue with Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S III has certainly made a full circle.

This is probably a very noob question, but I wanted to know what the purple **Locked** icon meant at the top of the bootloader. When I first got S-Off using juopunutbear that actually read juopunutbear, but to get supercid I reverted hboot SPH 1.93.0002 using the s-off toolkit to flash the hboot After getting supercid the bootloader gives me the purple locked icon.
