Hi All,
I want to get the most out of my SGN and as I've only had it less than a week am a bit confused about S-note.
I have opened S-note and chosen the journal template. There was a carnival pic which I deleted but now there's a big gap between where the pic was and the page lines.
My questions are
1) How do I get rid of the gap where the pic was?
2) How do i change my handwriting into text?
I've had a Nexus 7 since last Sept. 2012 (frozen on Jelly Bean 4.1.2) and have noticed when it gets to about 100+ hours of uptime it starts to lag (everything slows down or starts to act a little wonky, a restart always fixes it). I have never noticed similar behavior with my Note 2 or now my Note 10.1 (replaced the Nexus 7).
When writing an S Note, you can click the Options (3 horizontal lines) and choose Create Event. This opens a new event in S Planner with your current note already attached. Pretty sweet, eh?
The problem I am having is that after I save and close the event, I can't get back to see the note within S Planner. The note no longer appears to be attached at all.
I updated my note to JB...
But since one month my note turns off automatically..
At first this behaviour of my note was not much hetic... but now it gets switched off frequenty...
Today morning also it turned off 2 times within 20-30 mins..
It gets turned off when it is not in use... i.e. when its on stand-by..
What might be the exact reason behind dis...
Seriously considering the Note 2, over the Nokia 920.
When I tried reading a web page - with just text - using chrome, there was a lot of jitter. I tend to move the page in micro increments with my finger, and it was quite bad. The 920 in comparison is super smooth. It seemed as though the S3 was somewhat smooth too. What gives with the Note 2? Could it just have been a bad device?
Hi,
Firstly, this is not to start any debate about which aspect ratio is better, but is more a question for those who own (or have used) the first generation Galaxy Note.
I'm really looking forward to getting the Note II (upgrade from my current i9000) and my first concern upon hearing of the new aspect ratio (16:9) is how well it works well with the S-Pen for writing.
I have been using the Note 1 for the past year & used the s-pen a lot.
But writing with the s-pen on the Note 2 is simply brilliant. Very smooth & super responsive. A huge upgrade from the Note 1 s-pen.
Well done Samsung!

Hello, just bought the Galaxy Note 2 (Gray). I have a few questions:
1. When I went to the Music app, I noticed that there is only one song under Samsung album. The song is "Over the horizon". When I bought the Galaxy Note, there were 5-6 songs pre-installed. Why there is only 1 song?
2. What is screen time out? Which value is recommended?

Hi there,
I am seriously considering getting a note 10.1 - but I would only do so if that enabled me to go totally (or very nearly) paperless.
I have tried the text recognition thing on the S note in a store and while it seems fine, I think the lag is such that it is totally unrealistic that one would use that while taking notes in a meeting or during a conversation.
