I know we have a lot of battery life threads and I absolutely love this phone but mine is not getting good battery life. I'm an advanced android user, I know it well and I do know that some devices just have bugs which kill battery life.
First, here's the constants: I keep wifi/BT/GPS on 100% of the time. This was true when battery life was good, and now that battery life is bad. Disabling these will improve battery life, but will not fix my problem.
When the phone is sleeping overnight, I used to get 8-12% battery usage over about 8 hours.
Hello,
I was wondering which rom you guys could recommend for better than stock battery life? Seems like a lot of the roms are tweaked for smoothness and speed not battery life. Currently on d3rpICS but the battery life isn't so great...barely getting 8 hours with 1 hour on screen time. If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
I have my Asus U46e with an Intel coreI-5, 8GB ram running Ubuntu 12.04. Since installing I see that I am getting approximately 4 hours battery life and my brightness settings will not save. I was curious to find out whether I could extend the battery life on my laptop by tweaking the system.
I've seen lots of battery life forums, and most of them show great battery life (over 12 hours) with lots of screen time. I'm not even in an LTE area, but I get very good signal. My screen brightness is at about 30% and I have two e-mail accounts (Exchange push and Gmail sync).
I have trouble with battery life on ubuntu 12.10
Before I installed ubuntu 12.10, ı was user of ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
My computer is HP Probook 4530s. On 12.10 my battery life is less than 1.5 hours but on 12.04 my battery life is 2.30 - 3.00 hours.
Actually, İt sounds me crazy because sometimes i had to use my laptop portable without ac power.
Could anyone suggest anything about my problem?
Laptop Mode Tools, a power-saving package for Linux systems that allows users to extend the battery life the their laptop in several ways, is now at version 1.63. According to the developers, Laptop Mode Tools 1.63 brings some very important bug fixes that will make the power saving feature much more efficient.
What do you guys think the battery life will be like on the US version of the S4? I'm not too familiar with the S3, but my Galaxy Nexus has a 2100 MaH battery (extended), and the S4 is 2600. Do you all think that with optimization and a (I think) smaller nihm processor that battery life will be better than the bad life I've seen with my current daily driver? Thanks, all! :)
Normally I have to TRY and drain the battery to get below 10% before charging at night. Today (first day after update) my battery life was horrible. Noticed HTC Sense and Android OS were at the top of what was using battery. Those two were usually in the middle of what was using the battery. Wondering if anyone else had the same problem
