Text messages / phone calls delayed intermittently

I'm not receiving any text messages from people that are texting me, but I am receiving my own text messages if i text myself.

I did just have this phone activated yesterday and I ported the number, the process was complete before 11:00 am cst, does it take longer than 24 hours for all the metropcs functions to work on my phone or is there a setting on my phone that needs to be adjusted?

Been having trouble with my HTC Incredible S recently. Texts rarely send, and I rarely receive texts, unless I turn off all data, and constantly reboot my phone and/or send texts to myself to kick starts texts into sending and receiving. I'd buy a new phone, but am waiting for the Nexus 4 to come back into stock.

So im on my 3rd phone and 4th sim card and at&t has no idea what the problem is. It started a couple weeks ago.....my phone takes about 20 secs to connect and sometimes it doesn't even connect, it just drops the call. And when someone calls me they can't get through, it rings three times on their end then goes straight to a busy signal.

Today, it seemed my Galaxy S3 wasn't receiving any calls/texts for quite some time. I only realized this when I tried to send the same text a few times and it just wouldn't send. My first thought was to restart the device and after doing so, I saw a voicemail and a few texts I had missed. What would be causing this? Not very convenient when you're expecting something important to come through!

For soooo many months there has been a HUGE problem with making and recieving calls, severely delayed text messages and delayed voicemails. Calls are hardly ever recieved and outgoing calls usually drop. Text messages come in hours or days late and so do voicemails. It has been confirmed that most or all boost phones in this area experience this issue at random times.

Well I am new to this have just upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy 2.its so cool...but I want to add my sounds to the incoming text messages...can some one tell me how.I know you can download ringtones but these are for calls i want them for text messages as thats mainly what I get on my phone rather than calls Thanks...:confused:

Hy, I'm wondering if there is any app that can log calls and messages together and then send this log to my email or something? I'm petty sure my phone is automaticly sending some messages and making some phone calls but i'm not sure as it deletes from default phone app everything..

I have recently upgraded the android system on my phone (xperia arc S) to 4.0.3. When I get new messages or missed calls there is no icon on the screen to tell me so other than in the top display bar. Someone I know who has the same phone but is using the older version of android has an icon come up on their front screen.

So I just installed AOKP ICS and I'm not receiving any text messages. Not SMS or mms. I froze the original SMS app and installed GoSMS like was recommended, have no problems sending messages, but can't receive anything. Any thoughts? Phone calls and emails both work too.
