It’s only been six months since cloud data warehousing company Treasure Data launched its services, but they’re already reporting some impressive growth figures.
Treasure Data achieved month-to-month profitability last year, and they’re well on track to achieve a 500 percent increase in revenue this year.
Cloud-based data warehouse company Treasure Data officially opened its doors this week with $1.5 million in funding that includes an investment from Yukihiro “Matz” Matsumoto – the creator of the Ruby programming language.
The other investors include angel investor Bill Kai; Naren Gupta of Nexus Venture and a director with Red Hat and TIBCO, as well as the people behind Gluster and Heroku.
Starting this Friday, July 27th, Carphone Warehouse will carry the Nexus 7 tablet. Like many retailers, they will only offer the 16GB version, which happens to be sold out in the Google Play Store. You can purchase it outright for £199, but for those of you that need a constant connection, you can take the Nexus 7 for free along with a MiFi for a monthly charge of £20.50.
We already heard that Samsung would be releasing more colors for the Galaxy S III. The Garnet Red version is now available exclusively at Carphone Warehouse in the UK and is available at the same price as other colors and on all the carriers that Carphone Warehouse serves.
