http://askubuntu.com – I installed sensors, but this don't show me the 4 temperatures of my 4 cores, I have a Intel Core i5, Adapter: Virtual device temp1: +26.8°C (crit = +100.0°C) temp2: +0.0°C (crit = +100.0°C) coretemp-isa-0000 Adapter: ISA adapter Core 0: +40.0°C (high = +95.0°C, crit = +105.0°C) Core 2: +47.0°C (high = +95.0°C, crit = +105.0°C) I followed the same procedure in other i5 machine, and sensors show me the 4 temperatures of the 4 cores, I installed: apt-get install lm-sensors, apt-get install hddtemp, sensors-detect, modprobe coretemp (in my case). The Temperature Monitor in lxpanel (I'm using Lubuntu 12.10) is automatically detecting one of my sensors but I would like to give it an alternate one.

Here is the output of sensors:

Code: yum install lm_sensors which told me lm_sensors was already installed.

Next I did

Code: sensors-detect taking the default answer to all questions asked.

I have a problem on my new Laptop : Samsung NP530U4B. The processor is an Intel Core i5-2467M.

Hey,it seems like I actually fixed it.

Here's the output of sensors command:

I just installed a small home server with Ubuntu 12.04.01 but I have a problem with the fan that run on full all the time.

The server specs are Linkworld Mini ITX 920-01 Asrock H61M-ITX mITX USB3 SATA6 i3 2120 3.3Ghz 3MB

output from sensors shows
