I'm using the Horde framework for web-based e-mail, contacts, calendar, and tasks, and I'd prefer to keep doing that. My Android appears to synchronize the data from all of these apps via its ActiveSync support.

I have a question on how do you guys sync your calendars btw your phone, outlook and gmail?
As I understand it I cant sync my local calendar (ie My Calendar) on the with the gmail calendar.
Due to that limitation I sync my outlook with my phone via kies.

So I checked my schedule to see what time my appointment was and noticed that none of my events were in my calendar. The only thing showing up is my facebook events. All calendars are set to display and sync. When I go to settings>accounts>*******@gmail.com, the circle by the calendar has an exclamation point and it says that sync is experiencing problems. Is anyone else seeing this?

In the out of the box calendar (I assume it's a standard Android thing but since this is my first foray into the Android universe I suppose it could also be the Samsung calendar or the Note II Calendar specifically) there's a task list that can sync to Outlook. What are task groups? At first glance you'd hope they synchronized to Outlook categories but that doesn't seem to be the case.
