I'm following the XDA $30 Tmobile guide (same as the one on here) to program tasker for automating airplane mode when connected to WIFI but am running into some problem with Tasker. From what I can tell, my N4 goes into airplane mode (airplane icon on upper right screen shows up) when I'm connected to WIFI.
Simple question, can I create widgets with Tasker to change settings? For example, say I create a widget called "Work", when I press that widget I want it to lower the volumes (ring and notification), disable vibrate (very important), turn off WiFi and haptic feedback.

need help here, i have wifi problem on my tab + P6200. Here's the situation :
1. once i have use cm9 and suddenly wifi cannot turn on ( keep saying "turning on" but it still not "turn on" )
2. flash tu stock firmware ( back to HC 3.2 but wifi saying "error" when i try to turn it on )
3. try to flash cm10 but same problem with cm9

I'm running JellyTime on my Inspire and really loving it. Google Now is pretty cool, but the wifi thing is bugging me. I understand why GN wants wifi on all the time, but the Inspire doesn't have the best battery and I don't want to leave wifi on.
I'm thinking of using Tasker to turn wifi on for 5 or 10 minutes every hour, so GN can triangulate but not kill my battery.
Hi! My name is Gianluca and I'm from Italy. I didn't see any Tasker thread in droid razr section so I tought it would be a cool idea to start one.
I want to share with you my tasker configuration. My main focus is on battery life and gps tracking.
Is it possible to do diffent modes with Tasker that you can toggle with single click or using NFC sticker? Basically I'd want it to toggle between modes like HOME, SLEEP, CAR, OFFICE, OUT etc.

And everything is ok except on three places it has me set a priority for a particular task...but I can't for the life of me figure out how to set the priority for a task...
Can someone help?
I have 3 profiles running:
-Turn airplane mode on at night
-Turn wifi on when screen on
-turn wifi off when screen off
Yet Tasker is waking up my phone an awful lot (26 times in last 40 minutes)
why?
I really don't know what the problem is but my wifi activates when i don't want it like when i'm at home!!!! I use "Profile Manager" and use a profile where i disactivated wifi but still it starts now and then... how would that come??
Btw: is it normal too that it sometimes keeps saying that there are "open wifi networks" while wifi is off??
