.when I ran something in wine (using play onlinux) in virtual desktop mode, it would show up in the kmix mixer as an available program to modify its volume and it output device (although changing its audio device never worked with wine)
my problem is it doesnt show up in the kmix list nor the Veromix kde desktop widget any more.
Hello, I have trouble in getting Kmix up and running. (some) System details:
Linux 126.96.36.199-0.1-desktop x86_64
openSUSE 11.2 (x86_64)
4.3.5 (KDE 4.3.5) "release 0"
4 GiB RAM
It appears that Kmix is installed, as the Kmix icon start bouncing, but after a few seconds it disappears.
Ive been using Veromix without issue for some time now, but yesterday the widget decided to stop working. This error message is displayed in the widget:
"This object could not be created for the following reason: Could not create a python ScriptEngine for the Veromix widget."
A quick google brought up several bug reports, but I didnt see a solution anywhere.
I finally solved my problem alone so I come to give the solution if someone have the problem one of the next days...By default, Chakra now installs veromix.I uninstalled it at the beginning because I use Kmix.The problem is, KDE doesn't reaffect the shortcuts with the keyboard volume buttons to Kmix but to no one!So go in KDE system settings, shortcuts and reaffects the 3 volume controls to t
Hi, I started using amarok again, and a strange issue with pulseaudio comes up : when I modify the master volume (either through kmix, or veromix), Amarok's volume is increased/decreased by the same amount. It does however stay relative : If master is at 100%, Amarok at 75%, and I drop master to 0, then back to 100%, Amarok stays at 75%.
