Hello, I have trouble in getting Kmix up and running. (some) System details:
Linux 126.96.36.199-0.1-desktop x86_64
openSUSE 11.2 (x86_64)
4.3.5 (KDE 4.3.5) "release 0"
4 GiB RAM
It appears that Kmix is installed, as the Kmix icon start bouncing, but after a few seconds it disappears.
I finally solved my problem alone so I come to give the solution if someone have the problem one of the next days...By default, Chakra now installs veromix.I uninstalled it at the beginning because I use Kmix. The problem is, KDE doesn't reaffect the shortcuts with the keyboard volume buttons to Kmix but to no one!So go in KDE system settings, shortcuts and reaffects the 3 volume controls to t
Ive been using Veromix without issue for some time now, but yesterday the widget decided to stop working. This error message is displayed in the widget:
"This object could not be created for the following reason: Could not create a python ScriptEngine for the Veromix widget."
A quick google brought up several bug reports, but I didnt see a solution anywhere.
Hi, I started using amarok again, and a strange issue with pulseaudio comes up : when I modify the master volume (either through kmix, or veromix), Amarok's volume is increased/decreased by the same amount. It does however stay relative : If master is at 100%, Amarok at 75%, and I drop master to 0, then back to 100%, Amarok stays at 75%.
Hi... I just installed OpenSUSE 11.3/KDE4 and now I have no sound from the headphone jack. I checked Kmix and everything is fine.
I do remember that in OpenSUSE 11.2 I had this similar problem which I solved by switching ON/OFF the "Independent HP" option in Kmix. The problem with 11.3 is that this option is not available in Kmix.
I will appreciate any help. Thanks.
