Tails 0.15 has just arrived and it features a lot of changes, but surprisingly a new version of the Linux kernel hasn't been implemented.

The developers behind the Tails project proudly announced on November 13 the immediate available for download of the Tails 0.14 Linux operating system.
Tails 0.14 is powered by Linux kernel 3.2.32, which offers support for multi-core CPUs and more than 4GB of system RAM.

Porteus, a portable Linux operating system which can be installed on a USB device, CDROM, SD card or hard drive, and based on the Linux Live Scripts, has just reached version 2.0 Beta. Porteus 2.0 Beta (Kiosk Edition) has been released only for the 32-bit architecture and it's the first distribution in the series based on Slackware-14.0.
