Tablet that supports mirroring to TV?

http://androidforums.com – Hey guys, I'm looking at picking up a new TV and potentially getting a new tablet that can double as a sort of tv box. I don't know a heck of a lot about that side of android, so if anybody wants to spell out what I need from a tablet as well as what I need from a TV it would be appreciated. (General)

Ubuntu SDK for x86 tablets 6 weeks 3 days ago

I was thinking about installing the regular Ubuntu on a Windows 8 tablet with x86 processor...so basically a tablet that is actually a PC. I want to make a program that supports all gestures and movement detection of a tablet. Windows 8 has full support on a variety of different programming languages and supports all mobile device sensors in its SDK.

I am looking to buy a tablet preferrably android. I've been comparing android tabs and ipads from what i gather apple isn't the greatest in the tablet world. That's fine by me considering the prices, I'm basically looking for a general consensus.
