In trying to port out of T-Mobile prepaid. Do I use my phone number as the account number, and how can I recover my pin?

Much emphasis gets put on the contract side of T-Mobile’s business and how it competes with Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint, but the prepaid section of the market has been a point of focus for the Un-carrier too.
I know its an off question, but since the motion is on metro I figured I'd get more info.
I'm switching back to t-mobile in 2 weeks because it just worked better for me. If I port the number out (I am eligible since I checked and was originally a t-mobile number anyways) I know I need the account number and the pin which is my birth date correct? Is there a certain way to type it in?
So I get a meager discount on t mobile through work but when I try to set it up it asks for a billing account number for t mobile. I'm on the $30 100m/5g data plan and I can't find anywhere to find my billing number. T mobile seems to only show my phone number.
Where can I locate the billing account number or do I just plug in my phone number?
I have a boost mobile phone model number :N860 and I no longer have the sim card and I was wondering where do I get one and what kind of sim card do I need and can I use this phone for prepaid boost mobile or Verizon prepaid or straightalk prepaid service?
