It seems like it is some kind of gnome command.gnome-session-quit --power-offDont know what command that this command calls to actually shut off though.

I recently moved away from home to study at a university which is located six hours away from home and I left the stupid laptop there since I didnt got this working so I wont be able to try until I go home, but thanks for replying and I will check the solution out when I travel home.
Please read https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Systemd#Journal and show us journalctl output when this issue happens. Also curious to see your systemctl list-units, if you could.

Evidently there is a bug with systemd stopping networkmanager before remote filesystems are unmounted.https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=150029Are you using networkmanager? Have you tried using something else?

Well, to help along the way, I found this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sy … er_boot.3FThat worked exactly as described. Now, though, the interface isn't failing anymore, so I can't diagnose what was happening in the first place, haha.Speculation still welcome. I don't much prefer to simply let a problem "disappear" without knowing what it was.
