I'm not a computer person, so please bear with me.
I am using Windows Vista
An hour ago I was using the computer, and my internet connection faltered. When the internet connection was restored, it would not connect me to any of the websites / serviced I had been disconnected from. Specifically, I could not connect to AIM messenger, my Ventrilo server, or AOL.com / AIM.com.

Hey folks!
I have a Sensation XL that I managed to root and install a new OS on, but then tried to undo this to restore it back to it's original factory settings and it never worked, and now the phone is constantly stuck on this boot screen (attahced) does nothing else, and no matter what options I choose from the menu, it always comes back to this.
It has wiped everything off the phone, and I
I updated my prl normally through the menu settings last night. Said everything was successful. However, it left me with no mobile or 3g service with a same prl that i have used prior in the same area. No amount of factory and service menu resets would get the phone to restore the original radio partition settings. LG and Boost could neither help me.
I've finally installed LiquidSmooth ICS v1.5 MR2 (froze on the HTC screen a few times, had to update back to original and try again), but I have no service. I was able to connect to the net for a few minutes and then nothing. So I restored my old system and I'm back to square one.
Anyone else having these issues and figure out an answer?
This is an odd problem I'm not sure I've seen anyone else have.
So I rooted my phone and of course almost immediately un-installed something I shouldn't have. I can open up my contacts but if I select one, contacts closes itself. I've done a soft and hard factory reset, but that's obviously not going to restore a lot of the stuff that was on there to begin with.
I am a newcomer, and I hope that someone will help me find out what is wrong, and learn how to do this.
I have been performing backups using f -> Administration -> Backup. The backup location is a second internal HD, NTFS partition.
I've sold my Galaxy Tab 10.1 which is running on Android 4.0.4.
Will it still retain the Android 4.0.4 operating system if I restore the Tab back to factory settings prior to sending it to its new owner?
Thanks
Ive had this issue on both Ubuntu and Windows, it's driving me crazy! The wireless switch on my laptop glows orange in both the on and off position. I don't know why... It worked when I'd restore windows to its factory settings but only temporarily and usually only until it was powered down, then I'd have to restore it all over again just to access the internet. FRUSTRATING!
