Do you mean that even after correcting the path, you get the same FAIL message on boot?
I apologize if I am posting in the wrong area. I am not sure if this is a server question, desktop question or software question so I am posting in the Ubuntu section since I am using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. I am using it as a desktop. I read in a magazine about a file called /var/log/syslog. So, I looked at my syslog.
I am running Ubuntu 13.10 in my PC. Two days ago, oneconf crashed while I was working and I had to restart the computer. Since then, I haven't been able to go past the black screen to the login screen, after booting.
I used the CUI console (Ctrl+Alt+F1) to check syslog, Xorg.0.log, dmesg, etc.
