http://askubuntu.com – Is there anyway to have Ubuntu One sync in the morning and not at night. I keep seeing the program launch and sync when my notebook isn't plugged in and it seems to be draining the battery a lot. Thanks, Jeremiah O'Neal (HowTos)

I cannot get HTC Sync to work. Have installed and re installed 3 times on my windows 7 computer. One time the HTC sync app started to down load my songs from the computer that came from my sd card while the phone was not plugged in. Then it stopped and the run time error popped up for the hundredth time.

I have signed up for the Ubuntu one service today. I have been using Ubuntu lucid on my computer for a long time . I just find the Ubuntu one storage and sync service recently and i would like to set that for my backups.

Hi, I have an HTC Status running 2.3.3, and I generally only use it for texting. Recently I started using a few more features and set up an event on the calendar so that it would then sync and appear on my Google Calendar, which I have done several times before with no problems.

Then I realized that it did not sync, and in fact the last time it did sync was last November 2012 lol.

I have two Ubuntu 12.04 computers on a wireless home network, kept in sync using Dropbox. I use Dropbox rather than Ubuntu One because of its LAN sync feature - preferable to doing everything via the internet.

Will using GUFW (firewall) disable this LAN sync function? If so, how do I get round it?

I cannot seem to upload files on any of the sync services. I managed to sync 2MB of files via Ubuntu One, that took 30min, Dropbox and SpiderOak just start and then fizzle out. They show active sync in progress, but there is no actual progress.

I use Mobile Broadband USB wireless modem connection on a Compaq Pressario, Ubuntu 12.04.

I had previously removed Ubuntu One from my system as I had been using Dropbox and gedit for notes sync. I have since decided to use Tomboy and sync with Ubuntu One. I installed Tomboy and Ubuntu One from the USC. When I go to the Sync tab in Tomboy preferences, I do not see any sync options other then local (Which is also grayed out). I have also enabled ALL add-ins for sync.

I'm running a stock, non-rooted GS3. My contact icons are weeks out of sync with profile pictures and I can't get new contacts that are saved to display the picture. I went to Settings > Accounts and Sync > Facebook, and forced a sync a few times in the past 24 hours but it won't update anyone. How can I correct/update this? Thank you!
