Not too long ago SwiftKey showed of its new keyboard, appropriately titled SwiftKey Flow. There’s still no word on beta invites, but today we’ve got a new video showing a pretty unique, new feature in the keyboard. While typing out words, you can trace down to the spacebar and then keep going with the next word. No need to lift your finger at all for your sentences.
Would like to know everyones opinion of Swift Key vs the Stock Keyboard. I am new to android, but have used both over the last couple weeks. I havent noticed any real advantage to Swiftkey. I think they both have very similar features. Both do a good job of suggesting words and corrections. In some ways I like the stock keyboard better, just not sure yet.
What does everyone think?
I'm just wondering if anyone else has this problem. So, for a long time now, my phone will randomly act funny when trying to longpress things on the keyboard when typing. It is random and does not always occur. It has happened in Swiftkey X, Swiftkey 3 Beta, Swiftkey 3, Froyo stock keyboard, ICS stock keyboard, and now Jellybean stock keyboard. I am currently running the Toasted Marshmellow rom.
The HTC One doesn't seem to have in-place auto correct for the keyboard.
Ok, so my wife insisted on a phone with a physical keyboard so I got her the Strat 2. She likes it and it's pretty smooth, but lately, the keyboard doesn't respond. The default keyboard is set to SwiftKey, which I love on my Razr Maxx. Even if she switches from the virtual one to the physical one, nothing responds. She types, but nothing appears in the text box.
Users of the ever-popular keyboard app, SwiftKey, are reporting problems after updating their devices to Android 4.2. For many users, the keyboard disappeared entirely from devices after installing the Android 4.2 update.
Finding a nice keyboard that fits your needs and desires is one of the greatest things on Android in my opinion. Certainly something that’s lacking in the iOS department.
Why in the world would they take out auto correction on the Samsung keyboard? I don't know at everyone else but I have been spoiled by having so many android devices and simply cannot live without auto correct. SwiftKey is the way to go. Get it. You won't regret it.
