I know a lot of you have been testing the Beta version of SwiftKey Flow, but it’s now available to all as part of the new SwiftKey 4. Now if you’re already a user of SwiftKey Pro, you don’t need to worry about the promo price since it’s a free upgrade to existing users.
Not too long ago SwiftKey showed of its new keyboard, appropriately titled SwiftKey Flow. There’s still no word on beta invites, but today we’ve got a new video showing a pretty unique, new feature in the keyboard. While typing out words, you can trace down to the spacebar and then keep going with the next word. No need to lift your finger at all for your sentences.

Continuing the litany of neat things in the Galaxy S 4 that Samsung didn’t talk about during its grand (some would say overproduced) unveiling last night, the smartphone’s keyboard has gotten a boost thanks to some prominent text input buffs. It appears that SwiftKey is just getting better and better. Today the 3rd-party keyboard developer has announced in Barcelona that it will release the keyboard SDK for use by device and handset manufacturers. I'm just wondering if anyone else has this problem. So, for a long time now, my phone will randomly act funny when trying to longpress things on the keyboard when typing. It is random and does not always occur. It has happened in Swiftkey X, Swiftkey 3 Beta, Swiftkey 3, Froyo stock keyboard, ICS stock keyboard, and now Jellybean stock keyboard. I am currently running the Toasted Marshmellow rom.
The stock Android keyboard continues to go from strength to strength, the steady progress was further reinforced with a pretty solid update baked into Jelly Bean 4.1. The latest update to the stock keyboard brought with it improved auto-correction as well as a nifty auto-prediction feature that learns your typing habits and appears to know what you’re writing even before you do.
Would like to know everyones opinion of Swift Key vs the Stock Keyboard. I am new to android, but have used both over the last couple weeks. I havent noticed any real advantage to Swiftkey. I think they both have very similar features. Both do a good job of suggesting words and corrections. In some ways I like the stock keyboard better, just not sure yet.
