hi,
I want to divide my smartphone display into two parts (left/right) .
My headset broke recently and now only left side of it works. In some songs, there are parts that are only played through the right side and since my right side doesn't work, I can't hear them. I want to set the sound so it only plays on the left side. I tried changing the balance settings in sound preferences, but it only mutes the right channel, doesn't make it play through the left channel.
Hi, everybody.
I have a problem. I want to be able to open
files in emacs side by side from command line.
like this:
Code:
emacs -sbs file1.txt file2.txt
So I added the following code into my .emacs file
Code:
(defun open-side-by-side (switch)
(let ((file1 (pop command-line-args-left))
Whole entire left side from top to bottom feels significantly hotter than right side.
In fact right side feels completely cool .anyone have this problem too?
I am left-handed. On the top bar, I need the System menu (and Logout, User Switch, Clock, Battery Status, etc) on the left side. And I need the global menu items as well as the window buttons (close, minmize, maximize) on the right side. How can I do this?

Here's the bottom line. Way back when (in Gnome 3.2x, I think) FPMurphy wrote a snazzy extension to provide for a right-side hot corner in addition to the normal left side hot corner.
Does anyone know if that (or another) extension to do the same has survived the mutation of Gnome 3 into its current ...

An American study found that people in the United States are slightly more prone to getting certain types of skin cancer on the left side of their bodies than on the right side. Driving may be to blame.
I'm trying to scale a view (a ListView) to a certain size when the user clicks on an item in the ListView. The ListView's "original" (beginning) state is set to
layout_width="match_parent"
The ListView is obviously a rectangle, if you will. I can't figure out how to scale down the ListView and keep the left side of the rectangle(ie.
