Hi guys,
Hi There,
I had a strange problem where by my wireless keyboard wouldn't work on boot up. Mouse works fine. If I unplug then replug the dongle it works.
Thinking the keyboard was duff I today bought a new keyboard/ mouse wireless combo. It's a different make, yet it does exactly the same.
Anybody any ideas what is causing this?
Hi I have a strange problem.
My mouse and keyboard are working without a problem most of the time. But sometimes (no specific situation, can't reproduce) there's a bug and the mouse is jumping around for 1-2 secs and the keyboard is pressing like all keys at once. After those 1-2 seconds its possible that either the keyboard or mouse or both don't react anymore, and I need to restart.
I needed to have a logictech LX500 wireless keyboard and mouse on a UBUNTU system (LUCID) 64bit. Both mouse and keyboard communicate with a single USB wireless unit.
I'm about to add a wireless mouse and keyboard to the computer (running opensuse 11.2). Do I just plug them in? Do I have to load any drivers? Do I keep my wired keyboard/mouse plugged in at first?
It's: logitech cordless desktop wave pro
I can login into TTY and use the keyboard. CDM then executes Awesome and after that I lose mouse and keyboard control but the pointer is there. The time, wallpaper, and panels display properly.
I am using Arch Linux on a x86_64 bit machine, wireless mouse and keyboard.
Openbox operates fully (mouse and keyboard), and CtrlAltF1 does nothing (won't logout into TTY).
This happens every few hours. I am running fine and then the keyboard and mouse completely stop working - though the system seems to be still running.
I've tried two different wireless keyboard/mouse sets (different models) and the same thing happens.
I am running 9.04 on a Dell 9100 in dual boot with XP. This problem does not seem to occur in the XP os.
I recently upgraded to 12.10 from 12.04, I have a wireless Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse (both ise the same dongle) my mouse works but the keyboard doesn't (it types random things) but my wired keyboard works just fine, is there a fix for this?
Sample: the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog (wired keyboard)
