Hello
I recently installed Fedora 18 on my machine and have spend a few days on configuring it. I am using the kernel version 3.7.4.
I have unfortunately faced the following two very strange issues that I couldn't solve them:
1. Suspend to RAM does not work. When I choose suspend I get the black text mode screen with log messages but the system does not suspend.
I don't have a laptop. I'm running #! on a desktop.How do I suspend ?pm-suspend works...
Hi.
I have a suspend problem with my t61. I can suspend only once. After that one suspend, when I press Fn+F4 eg. suspend to ram again screen goes blank, hdd spins down, then after a few seconds hdd spins up again, but screen remains black. Nothing else helps than forced reboot. Then I have one suspend left again :)
Since I don't use my laptop very often, I can't really tell when it started.
hi everyone, I have a little problem with my laptop.this is the way I suspend my laptop: I open a terminal and type "sudo pm-utils", suspends perfect, then I push the power button, everything resumes fine, but if I don't stop kill the pm-suspend command (ctrl + c) the laptop go to suspend again. there is a way to avoid this?

I've tried ubuntu, kubuntu, fedora and linux mint. all 64 bit versions.
I've also tried to suspend through applications like acpitool. But nothing works.
When I click on Suspend, the screen goes blank but the computer is still running. The wireless network adaptor gets disabled for a second and then comes back on. All I have to do is press a key and I get the unlock screen prompt.
Over the last 24hrs my suspend option has ceased to work. I am running Ubuntu 11.10, Gnome 3.2.1, and 3.0.0-14-generic kernel on a desktop machine; I have to click on suspend. Is there a setting I can change that will give me back the suspend function?
Hi, my computer is having issues when I try to put it to sleep (suspend). When I close my laptop (in power settings, i have ti set to suspend) or hit the suspend but in the menu bar, the computer screen goes black (but still backlit) and it continues to run (also, the wifi indicator shows that wifi is turn off).
I use frequently on my laptop the "suspend" function of opensuse 11.2.
I would like to use the "suspend" function on my desktop too running an opensuse 11.1 with default kernel 2.6.27.39, but when I restart the machine the monitor is black and the only solution is to reboot it.
Is it possible to use the "suspend" on desktop?
Hello, I have a problem with WOL(Wake-On-Lan) and suspend mode.
In my labatory, we use ASROCK main board B75M .
We tested on ubuntu 12.10.
However, WOL and suspend mode does not work.
For, example
When we use 'pm-suspend' , to target pc, it works well without WOL
But, when we use 'pm-suspend' after WOL, it does not work properly.
The target pc does not go into suspend mode.
