Support Xperia Play use in Canada ??

http://androidforums.com – Hi All, This past september I brought an unlocked Experia Play from Europe to Canada. At the time I tried to connect using Bell but they said they don't support the handset because it's too new ! I connected with Rogers without a problem, but after 5 months with the Rogers substandard services I need to find a new carrier. I've tried them all once again, Bell, Koodo, Virgin, Wind, Telus, with no luck ! The bloody phone was originally unlocked, both Rogers and Bell have compatible networks, so why the heck doesn't the play work with Bell or anyone else ?????? Any help will be apprec (General)

I have an unlocked Exhibit 2 4G (the Walmart version). I'm planning to go to Canada for 3 months. It seems there are 3 major phone networks there, Bell, Rogers, and Virgin.

What is the major differences between Bell, Rogers and AT&T? Other than the M at the end of i747M vs AT&T i747? Looking at specs on all but Bell gets same as AT&T + has AWS( T-Mobile )?

Also would you treat all as AT&T or International for Bell & Rogers?

And if so cam you turn the Bell & Rogers into an AT&T?

Good Day. I recently purchased an unlocked Telus LG Optimus P500. Bell is my current carrier. Due to the fact that I did not purchase my phone from Bell, I was recently informed that my phone cannot run the Bell Mobile TV app. Are there any settings I can change to make the Bell Mobile TV app function, or am I out of luck? Any help would be appreciated.

I am using unlocked Telus SGH-i747m galaxy s iii on fido. The LTE symbol doesn't show up in the notification bar. It shows 4G symbol and then no symbol for a minute and then 4G again. I used the exact same phone/software/rom on Bell and LTE worked just fine before I switched to Fido.

Can I try to use the Rogers stock rom on my Telus phone? Will it brick my phone?

I'm planning to buy an HTC One from Bell Canada...as I am a bell customer..however I have a question regarding the "unlocked-ness" of the phone. Often, I travel to Asia for work (namely South Korea).

I just flashed my rogers lumia 920 using navifirm with the .1002 ROM because .1001 was not there. Well, phone is working fine, BUT...this new firmware disables AWS 1700!!! My Wind SIM is only connecting in AWAY mode, and when I insert a Rogers SIM, and select manual network selection, both Wind and Mobilicity have disappeared! Only Fido, Rogers, and Bell are showing!!

I have an unlock Samsung galaxy s2 on Android 4.1.2,

It's originally from Rogers, but I've been using it with my Bell sim card for a few months.

This morning after a night charge, my phone wasn't able to read my bell sim card anymore...

I reboot a undred times (almost), Flash the ROM, did it again this time wiping all data on my phone, but nothing changed...

Anyone using a Bell Atrix HD noticed an update yet? I bought mine on ebay unlocked and it is currently on 77.55.17.

Also, has anyone using the Bell Atrix been able to show what has been using the battery? I only get the amount of time that has passed since the last charge.

One more, can I still get an update even though I'm not using the Bell Canada service?

doesnt matter what stock rom i use, i used bell telus sasktel no fmc, there still rogers stock apps!! WHY???

I cleared cach dalvik factory reset, everything i can find TWRP , still rogers apps BUT I DIDNT EVEN USE ROGERS STOCK ROM, so the phone used to be rogers
