My wife broke her Droid Razr by dropping it on the cement. The screen is cracked and the screen is black. If I plug it into the HDMI port I can see the screen, but only half the screen is responsive, so i can't do the pattern unlock. I am wondering if this phone is ok to dispose of, either by selling for parts or just recycling.
I have a Galaxy Nexus (i9250) with a broken/shattered screen but everything else seems to be working fine as I can call it (rings) and change volume. If possible I would like to:
A. Retrieve my data on it (specifically just the photos) but I can't access it via USB since the phone is "locked" and i cant see/touch the lockscreen
B.
Hi, I have a rooted Nexus S 4G and I was in the process of installing a new rom using TWARP. I did all the usual things like factory wipe, delvak cache wipe etc. and then flashed the zip file and rebooted my phone. My phone rebooted to the Google screen with the unlocked icon and then went to the black screen. The navigation buttons are lit up but I don't get an animation screen or anything else.
I dropped my phone and the screen cracked but you can still turn on the phone and call people and receive texts. I got my replacement phone about a week later and i was wondering if there is any way to move my texts over to my new phone or just look at them someway. Can anyone help?
Hey, unfortunately my screen broke. The phone works, but the touch screen doesn't. I have i new phone i will put to use, but there are certain things I would like to transfer from the old phone to the SD-card.
Is there anything i could do, to get access to my phone? Remove the screen or something? :)
Hi everyone. A few days ago I unfortunately cracked the screen on my Samsung Infuse.
My phone's screen cracked when it dropped the other day and I can no longer view anything on the screen. The phone works since when I turn it on all the notifications will come through and the phone vibrates. The screen is completely dead.
I have hooked it up to my laptop to try to recover the internal files. The laptop reads the phone but I can't actually get to the files.
I have a Galaxy s2, and I recently broke my screen. The phone boots and still makes noises, but i believe the touch screen part is broken as well. My phone was not in debug mode.
I had a carabiner case, which was attached to my bag, so the phone was hanging off of my bag. I put my bag down in the car, and closed the door...on the phone. The phone has a nice, tiny crack at the top left of the screen, rendering the touchscreen portion from working. At the time of the incident, the screen was still working, but after 3 days, the screen started to "die off".
