I am rooted and on black bean 2 with the nyan kernel. My YouTube app won't stream videos over wifi. It plays for 5 seconds and buffers and then it goes over again.
Plus Pandora doesn't stream as well. This is over wifi OR 3g. It acts like it's going to play a song and then just skips to the next one. Then it does it again. So it's skipping through songs without actually playing anything.
I have my laptop running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS connected via builtin wifi. I bought a USB bluetooth adaptor and reroute the audio to a bluetooth receiver for my computer speakers. But when I play streaming music from Youtube or Pandora, the bluetooth degrades the wifi bandwidth so much that streaming is impossible due to constant pausing to buffer the audio.
On my BMW forum, a guy connected an apple airport express to his car, then fed it into a digital to analog converter, then to his jl audio MS8 processor to get lossless audio streaming music over 3g from spotify (320bps) through WiFi/airplay via his iPhone.
So my basic problem is that I have a lot of media on my home desktop. It's a home built machine that has no sounds and runs windows xp
I have no problem streaming video over wifi. Everything works absolutely fine that way.
This thread is not about live streaming, but about regular streaming.
I love to watch series on my HTC One X, which is a 7 months old. The phone has never actually been great. The first two I had couldn't receive wifi and this (the third) one sometimes lags while listening to music (that gives weird and loud ticks). This also happens during streaming.
My rezound stopped picking up WiFi hot spots. The WiFi is turned on but I can't even tap into my own WiFi network because it says its out if range. Can someone help?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Gio S5660 with a Wifi problem.
When I connect to my home, school, girlfriend's Wifi it works fine! When I leave the connection with Wifi (just because I go to school of to a Bar..) and I'm going back to my home, school of girlfriend, Wifi is not connecting to the router.
I've recently bought a 16gb N7 and as usual am regretting not waiting for the 32gb to come out.I then realised that most of the space on the N7 (10gb) is being used for storing some of my music and only a couple of gb of apps.
Anyone else having issues streaming youtube or google play sample tracks over wifi? 3g works fine, wifi connection says "lost connection to server". Works fine w the other phones using wifi in the house. Tried restoring back to my first post root save w the same effect. Any thoughts?
