I want to buy the Galaxy S3 for Mpcs, but I don't know what'll happen after they merge with T-mobile in June or July. Would my phone be obsolete and a waste of 500?
I know the current trend is T-Mobile 4g for metro gsm phones BUT I am one of those poor saps that do not have T-Mobile 4g coverage  according to the map. I am at 3g with three bars (strong 3g). on the flip side my location has 4glte from metro CDMA  with data speed around 7mbps down and 3mbps up (as mentioned in my other thread my dilemma..).
I had a Galaxy S3 (Metro PCS) recently given to me by my cousin. The thing is he reported it as lost, so they were to send him a new one (WHICH THEY NEVER DID) and in the time in between waiting he decided to leave Metro and switch to Sprint. I tried to activate it to Metro but they told me I couldn't. So Im guessing the IMEI is blocked. Is there anything I can do with this phone?
It looks like nothing but delays across the board for the Samsung Galaxy S III. We already reported issues from both T-Mobile and Sprint. Now AT&T is saying that some of the buyers that pre-ordered and are expecting to get their phone today will have to wait until Monday, June 25th. If you happen to be one of those lucky few, you will get an email and an SMS text letting you know.
