On my daughter's MyTouch Slide 4G we just started getting "Visual Voicemail Full" alert in notifications. I have checked the app drawer, etc and I cannot for the life of me find the Visual Voicemail app anywhere. No icon to launch the application anywhere as far I can tell.
She has never used visual voicemail and her regular voicemail is empty.
I came to the GN2 from an iPhone where I had free visual voicemail built in the the phone.
I want the visual voicemail experience on the note 2 but don't want to pay the Verizon visual voicemail fee.
Are there any good visual voicemail clients that you guys use?
In an effort to reduce the bloat on my phone I accidentally deleted the visual voicemail app. I don't want visual voicemail, just a notification of a voicemail. I deleted thinking that is not what I wanted and I can not get any notifications now. I have tried a few voicemail notification apps which have worked with boost mobile, however they are not working for me.
i got this phone from a friend, i think they had visual voicemail because when i click on the voicemail icon it pops up with a screen that says loading please wait. i don't have visual voicemail. is there any way i can get it to dial my into my voicemail box by default?
if you get an evo v 4g, make sure you dont have any new voicemails stored before you switch.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
actually what happens is you get stuck because your voicemail switches over to the sprint voicemail, and any messages in your old voicemail still pop up in your notification bar and cannot be removed.
Well... I'm on cm10 so my voicemail is now through sprint instead of boost. Now when someone sends me a voicemail, I get two texts from 9016. Its sprint telling me that I have a voicemail to listen to. I had visual voicemail app from ICS that I restored to cm10 with titanium backup, but I disabled it hoping that that would somehow stop the text messages.
Visual voicemail functionality is the visual element in a voicemail application that allows text to be transcribed and displayed on the phone -- or more simply, message headers, or envelopes, are displayed textually in a list. Options often include push to email and SMS. It's been around in various forms since Apple's iPhone kick-started smartphone user interfaces into the 21st century.
Hi, forgive me if this isn't the right section for this.
I've had my Samsung Intercept for about a year and a half now, and I've never really had any problems up until about a month or two ago.
I'm trying to make my default voicemail be Google Voice rather than Sprint's Visual Voicemail. Is that even possible without doing the complete Voice integration on this phone? It was possible on my previous Evo 4G LTE, but I can't seem to find the option in the S4. Thanks for the input!
