http://androidforums.com – For sometime now, I've been have an issue with my vibration settings. they don't stay after a reboot. in my sound setting i have vibrate set to "Always" but when i reboot, it always changes back to "Only in Silent mode" My only solutions for now has been:not reboot, use an app called Vibrate Tools to force the vibration back on, use an app called Sound Manager to change the vibration setting to what they should be or use Terminal Emulator to reboot by command line. Also, after a normal reboot, changing the settings the normal way does nothing. Any ideas? (General)

I'm using stock ELLA rom with latest siyah kernel. My phone is in "Sound" mode now and "Sound and vibration" option checked in sound settings. WhatsApp notification setting for vibration is set to "system default". My phone doesn't vibrate when i receive a message. If i set my phone to "vibrate" mode via toggle it works fine.

Ok, this is pretty frustrating.

I know there are similar threads to this one but none of them seem to help me.

I am currently running Android 4.1.2 on my Galaxy S3 and I have noticed that my phone doesnt vibrate for anything when on loud or vibrate setting - calls, txt messages, notifications, games...anything

Hey. I've had this problem with my Xperia Mini Pro ever since I bought it. When the sound is on, I don't want it to vibrate when receiving a text message. When the sound is off, I want it to vibrate. This is exactly what I chose in the Settings > Sound menu.

Whenever I get a notification it will sound AND vibrate. I want to have sound WITHOUT the annoying vibration.

Where on earth do I find the setting for this???

There are 3 settings Silent, Vibrate, and Sound on.

Sound On seems okay, Silent seems okay, but why does the Alarm and Notifications mute in in Vibration mode, shouldn't the alarm always ring and the notification go to vibrate?

I have gone through all of the possible setting in any app that maybe doing this but everything seams to be set up correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are there some tweaks to change the vibration intensity when I press the Back and Menu button. I know that you can enable and disable the vibration, but I want to vibrate a little not with full intensity of vibration.

Hi all, like many others I was looking for an app that would allow me to quickly (i.e. with a widget) turn the vibration off at night, and silence everything but the ringer and alarm. I was using MyProfiles, but since the JB update the phone continues to vibrate even with the vibrate off option set.
