Hi,
When I load a page and it use Adobe Flash and the page want to get the voice from user, Adobe Flash asks me if I want to enable voice API.
But on google's official english page we can search by voice. When google use the voice, Chromium does not asks anything.
I use also 10 enabled extensions.
We are using open source web browsers.
I want to compare page load time between mobile browsers (such as iOS Safari, Android browser). I can't find profiling tools for these mobile browsers.
Do you have any good idea?
One possible option I think now is using UIWebView of iOS and WebView of Android to implement simple applications which can detect page loading events.
hi. network manager shows good connection when using wifi - speed at 70 - 100 Mb/s. i can ping google with results "time 13010ms rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 64.675/88.976/124.959/20.313 ms".
however, chrome and firefox are having issues accessing sites, like google.com (connection time, page not available or takes a very long time to load). i'm not behind any proxy.
Mozilla released Firefox 13 Wednesday, which it says is a speedier, safer version of the open source web browser. The newly launched Firefox also boasts a new home page and tab page layout similar to those of competing browsers such as Google's Chrome.
First, start-up speed comparison
As with the system is most closely IE8 browser, fastest, less than a second to start a whole. By contrast, Firefox worst, complete, even when they were met with more than 2 seconds clock. As for Opera, and Chrome, more or less. However, because of structural simplicity, Chrome clearly more possession of a number of advantages.
With increasingly faster internet access, these days everyone is waiting for pages to load faster and faster.
So if your page does not load fast enough, you can lose too many visitors. According to studies, people wait up to 5 seconds for a page to load, if it does'nt they leave the site.
Here is my problem -
I have a HTML page (page 1) which connects to another HTML page (page 2) in an iFrame. However this loading is done, say a minute after the page load completes.
ie. page 1 -> wait 60 seconds -> open page 2 in iframe within page 1.
However when this load occurs, the browser throws an alert that network is not connected.
I have 2 internet connections from 2 different ISP:
1- At home and its working fine for all browsers on ubutnu 10.04 and windows 7.
2- At work, there is a problem with the browsers on ubuntu.
I've used all browsers (chromium, firefox...) but browsing is very slow.
For example it takes over 20 seconds to load my facebook page.
But when I am downloading files, the average downloadspeed is 2 mb/s.
I tested my internet speed at (speedtest.net) and it shows 49 Mbps.
1. I checked channel, no one use same channel.
2. I changed Wi-Fi anten to better place
3. I disabled IPV6
4.
