Hey y'all, got a problem...
My external IOMEGA 2TB HD has been working fine with my UBUNTU 10.04LTS computer for about a year now but today I got an old G4 powerbook running and wanted to get some files from it so I unplugged my 2TB HD from my UBUNTU computer and plugged it into my G4.
Hi
I have some manga that are scanned as jpg files. This is a little difficult to explain...So I have the title folder and several other folders in that folder for each volume. When I transfer the title folder onto my tablet only the folders at the end of the directory, or those that only have the jpg files and NOT other folders show up.
Hey guys,
I'm sure this has been posted before, but several searches and hours later, I'd like to be pointed to the solution or told.
So, I have an HTC Evo 4G LTE from Sprint, upgraded to the latest update.
I've noticed that my computer recognizes all the drivers and my SGS3, but the Internal Storage folder for my phone seems to be either not showing hidden files or reporting storage file sizes incorrectly. My phone is rooted and my computer is set to display all hidden files/folders, however my Internal Storage says 9.58GB free out of 12GB.
I have an Android phone which I use as a music player, and I use Banshee to manage the music on my computer. I can copy music fairly easily from Banshee to the phone, I can even copy the music (MP3s) contained in a playlist.
What I would like to do is copy the playlist itself, but that is apparently not so straightforward.
I just got my N10 last night and I plugged it in to my PC and started dragging across files with no problem.
Today however, my PC didn't recognise the N10. It kept making the device attached sound, but it wouldn't display in My Computer. After troubleshooting the N10 through the control panel, it now appears but as "Portable Media Player" in My Computer.
Hi,
I'm updating the Linux on my computer. I've already copied the files and folders in my home directory (audio, video, documents, pictures, and others).
I've also made a copy of the wifi passwords saved on my computer (etc/NetworkManager/system-connections).
What other files or folders should I be copying before I do a fresh install?
Thanks.
When moving specific music files from my computer to another device I got used to just dragging the files directly from iTunes to the folder in question.
(Why do I like doing this?
A little bit of a disclaimer, I have very little knowledge of the correct terminology for some of the things I'm going to ask about, and I apologize in advance
I have a Nexus S 4g phone that is, at the moment of writing, connected to my 11.10 computer through its USB charger cable.
