http://androidforums.com – Dear All Can anyone assist me with this please? When I first connected my Note to a PC with a USB cable, I could see and browse the phone with Windows Explorer. Since installing Kies Air on my PC I can no longer see the phone in the Explorer Tree nor can I connect via USB using Kies. Kies has automatiocally re-installed USB drivers but this hasn't helped. Has anyone got any suggestions about how to fix this? Thanks Trevor (General)

After updating with XWLSD 4.1.2 JB Stock ROM, I am unable to connect my phone with KIES.

1. Cable is original supplied with the phone 2. I uninstalled and re-installed KIES 3. It is charging in USB mode 4. Have ran KIES troubleshooting, it reinstalled the drivers, but no result 5.

Windows 7, 64bit.

Installed Kies, ran the Kies update but it will not recognize that my phone is connected. Ran the trouble shooting - nothing.

Would like to get the ICS but looks like I cannot.

Any workaround to install the ICS firmware?

Connect to my phone (Galaxy SII) - Kies notifies new firmware is available Firmware upgrade to ICS 4.0.3 worked like a charm..... installed firmware: PDA:LPG / PHONE:LPG / CSC:LPG (TGY) But that upgrade apparently did something bad to Kies.

As per usual I started my daily backup - Kies prepares backup - and suddenly this message pops up on the phone unfortunately, wssyncmlnps has stopped

I'm from India and using Galaxy S3 now.

My phone (Galaxy S3) fails to recognize on Kies. I'm doing everything correct , but still it is not showing in Kies.

Previously it worked for me, but now its not at all.

Kies show this error message :- "Unable to connect to GT-I9300.Failed to retrieve device information."

I've installed all the drivers successfully.

Hello All.

I got my S3 about a week ago and I love it! I've had a couple of issues with my device though but I did find solutions for it.

Kies won't connect to my device: I've tried everything to fix KIES, uninstalling, re-installing, troubleshoot, kies mini, and to no avail. Not once have i seen a post for an alternative to kies. I have and still have a problem with Kies.

Hello Just wondered if anyone could help. I have unrooted Galaxy S3 and have just gone to complete latest update via Kies. All was going smoothly, download to phone was complete, when error came up on PC USB device not recognised. :( Have updated the drivers via Kies but left with phone saying "Downloading Do not turn off target." Worried now about rebooting phone.

I have a GT 19300 v4.1.2 and all was well until a week or so ago.

W7 64-bit

Now when I connect the phone to my PC (W7) the system sees it and tries to install drivers but then gives a message saying the it failed to install them.

Device manager now shows my phone as an unknown device and it didn't before.

I don't think this is a cable or a Kies problem, because I've installed and unins
