hello all, 1st post so be gentle!
i have a fusion5 tablet running android 4 ics.
I have a SD card installed in my i9500. As you know, i9500 has 16GB built-in RAM, and I found that /sdcard (also /mnt/sdcard) is mounted to internal storage(seems /storage/sdcard0), external SD card is located in /storage/extSdCard ( /mnt/sdcard mounted to here). But some old apps don't support customizing download destination, and most downloaded files went to the internal storage.
I just moved Audible to external card, which is close to 5 GB used space!
This is my first post not had an android phone for long. I am confused about transferring apps to the SD Card.
Most of the apps I have downloaded give an option to transfer to the SD card. At first I thought this must be to the external SD card. But it turns out that this is to the internal SD card, but there is no internal SD card.
I've been reading about Content Providers and the Media Store but I'm still not sure what's the best way to solve this common problem.
To simplify, let's say I want to create an app to read ebooks. Users will copy their ebooks in the device storage somehow (i.e: using the USB and their computer, from dropbox, email...).
Ebooks might be in several formats (mobi, epub,...).

Hi guys , i recently bought a galaxy tab2 7.0 for the soul purpose of reading ebooks. I already have a big library of ebooks (pdf and epub). However i was very dissapointed with theebook reader apps. Kobo, which i liked the most has very bad pdf support and aldiko premium does only save to internal memory and dosnt have highlight possibilities.
I'm using the Aldiko eReader in my nice new Nexus 7 and I have a question
With about a dozen eBooks loaded in the Aldiko eReader and reading one that I don't like, how do I get back to the library or bookcase to choose another eBook
I cant find out how to do it, maybe I had too much wine over Christmas :xmas:
I have a Doublepower M7088 jellybean tablet, and there seems to be an issue with apps recognizing my SD card from the internal memory when trying to install gameloft games. The resource files always install to the internal memory instead of the SD card and if i move the files myself to the SD card the game fails to find the files after i moved them.
