I must have checked something off for text notifications. I am getting two different notifications (at the same time ) for text messages on samsung galaxy s3. How do I get back to just my original one?
I've just transferred my data from a 2GB SD card to a 16GB SD card on my android phone. Now the notifications I downloaded before I did this are now in music list. How can I get them into notifications. I know when I downloaded them from the playstore ages ago, they were called "funny ringtones", but meant for notifications, eg., text messages.
I have the GS3 and haven't even had it for a year.. Just recently I noticed that my text notifications won't pop up on the lock screen nor the at the top of the homescreen. I checked volume, they're all up. I went to text message settings and they're all checked for me to receive the notifications, but still never received any notifications on homescreen/lockscreen.
I have a Motorola Droid - I'm getting all my text messages and notifications - however, when I click on the notifications (which says 2 right now) - I can't tell which is a new text - especially if the texts were part of conversations...please let me know if you need more info to help
Hi y'all. I had to turn off the vibration/sound for notifications on my phone because the spam messages at night kept waking me up.
However, I want it so that my phone can vibrate on receiving text messages when on vibrate mode. Unfortuantly, if I turn off vibrate for notifications, the text vibrates don't work either. Is there a workaround?
I have a galaxy S3 and I used to get notifications on my lock screen that I would have a missed call or text and they would show up in a bubble circle with a message for a missed text or a phone receiver for a missed call with the # of each that was missed. I installed the new update and no longer get these "notification bubbles" - do I have to turn something on in the settings?
Hey everyone, I have a quick question forusers that are using GMail as your main email app.
When I receive a new email the subject text/body text doesn't show up with in the notifications bar. Only the name of the sender. Can subject text/body text be enabled/disabled somewhere? I think I hit something I shouldn't have on accident.
S3 on Verizon. I just got the phone last week and I got the repeated audio notifications for text messages to work but can't seem to get the same for voicemail. I only get one audio notification right after the message is left.
I have called into the voicemail system (*86) and in the personal setting options turned the notifications on.
