http://androidforums.com – My wife and I both have Triumph phones with Cm7 10-15 build. We can tether to our laptops , but when we try it to my my wifes android tablet it tethers but kicks us out of tether when you try to transfer data. Her tablet is on ICS, I was wondering if that coul be causing some kin of conflict. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I had no problem tethering that same tablet to my optimus v.:confused: (General)

When i use my stock wifi tether, i get 0.14 mbps- 0.55mbps. When i use wireless tether for root users i can get about 1.0-2.5 max. When i tether my laptop, i can get up to 27 mbps.

Hello, I'm new to the forum, and I've tried to get this working on my own, but I'm stumped and am hoping someone out there can help me out.

I just bought a shiny new Nexus 7 tablet and would like to tether it to my Galaxy S III phone. I'm currently on a pay as you go plan on my phone where I have an "internet browsing" plan (via SpeakOut).

Guys, need some help. I am on AOPK JB ROM and Wifi Tether is supposed to work, et I am having troubles getting it to work on mine. I have used both the built in hot spot as well as Wifi Tether for Root. On the built in hot spot, it will work till the point of showing up on my tablet or other phones.

Hey guys been searching all over and just trying to tether my new Nexus to my annoying "infrastructure" only wifi Galaxy Tablet 2.

Maybe there are specific Roms that can do this...

My wife and I have a stock SIM-free 9020a's which were updated OTA to 4.1.2 this week. Today I've come to tether my Android tablet to it and though it connects there is no data throughput. Same on my wife's.

So ive been using pdanet to tether my GS3 to my laptop to use 4g since I currently dont have wifi right now. So far i havent had any problems with it, however I do have it set to hide tethering usage. The only problem with this is that hiding tether usage makes me unable to watch netflix on my laptop because it messes with the flash player or something.

If anyone is looking to get wifi tethering set up, I've found an app that works on the Venice, and it just happens to be free :)
