I just purchased an AT&T GSM Galaxy S3 and I plan on getting a micro SIM card from straight talk to use it. Now my real question is I live in Craig, CO 81625 and on the straight talk website it says my area is unsupported for the micro SIM. Although I can put in an alternate zip and override it when I go to purchase it and get it anyways.
I have setup my nexus 4 with the general straight talk APN settings. I was wondering if there I'd a way to set it up to get faster data speeds, also my network is named home not t mobile or straight talk
I bought a verizon 4g lte galaxy s3 16gb I wanted to put it on at&t's network with the straight talk bring your own phone thing. So I got it put the SIM card in activated it then I got Samsung kies and updated my android to 4.3 then I rooted it successfully. But I am only getting edge data speeds and its really slow.
I have had a Nexus 4 since it first went on sale, and have used it on various carriers. First, I used Straight Talk (AT&T), but after being throttled to barely-dial-up speeds, I switched to the $30 unlimited text, data, 100min T-Mobile plan. Bad Idea.
I live in the long island new york area. I bought a straight talk sim and 45 min card. I bought an att carrier locked galaxy note. The sim from straight talk is an att sim. I was coming from virgin Mobile and had to port my existing number.. The process took about 30 min and now I am up and running on att "4g" network...
Hello everyone, new to this branch of the site, have spent most of my time (too much probably) in the Virgin Mobile Triumph forums. The upside is that there's an amazing bunch of developers for it and I get to hop from it to the Nexus 4!
Ok, so to start Iv'e been wanting to use the BYOD program straight talk is offering, unfortunately i need the AT&T sim to get coverage in my area. However, I've been using straight talk with an LG840G phone that i bought from straight talk a while ago. The sim inside this phone is an AT&t one and i was wondering if I could use it in my new compatible phone.
So I'm planning on getting the N4 next month and was looking to get the ST ATT, but when I go to their website and enter my zipcode to buy the sim card I only see the tmobile. Everyone in my area has good ATT coverage. What is this supposed to mean? Should I go to walmart or does this somehow mean there is no ST ATT coverage in my area?
