I have been getting an android software update (0.0mb) alert which errors when accepting (invalid packaging).
Is this normal? Have google updated and LG haven't or is there an update from LG?

With the Android 4.3 update for the Verizon HTC One finally upon us, it was only a matter of time before we’d see a changelog surface somewhere. Surface it has, as Big Red updated their web site with a support PDF for the newly approved update.
The update has a finalized build of 2.10.605.1. As far as the update is concerned there isn’t much to it.
There is now a new update available for this DROID 2 named 4.5.621.A955.Verizon.en.US. The official Big Red update page lists a number of device feature updates along with a Google security patch. Plus a few other enhancements to e-mail, messaging, data, and applications and widgets.
So this is my 3rd note 3 as the others one didn't work. When this one was sent to me I was told to ignore the software update Bc that's what was causing all my problems on the last phones. The update reminder kept popping up and I accidently hit it and it updated it. I want to know if I do a factory reset on it will it go back to the old software without the update?
I am running Fedora 19 (default Gnome edition) and have been under the impression that the Software Update program was just a GUI version of performing the "yum update" command. When I first installed F19, the Software Update program detected and downloaded something like 400MB of updates.
The past two times though, I have given using "yum update" a shot.
Hi guys, i have an arc s and have noticed the ice cream sandwich update is available. What i was wondering is, will i lose anything on my phone when i update it?
The reason i ask is i had an x10 last year and when it had a new software update i updated the software and it wiped everything off my phone and i was gutted. So I'm a bit scared of doing this in case it happens again.
