http://androidforums.com – I have been struggling to resolve an issue that has been bugging me since i got my phone. I am trying to successfully tether 4g lte to my iPad at decent speeds. When i use my stock wifi tether, i get 0.14 mbps- 0.55mbps. When i use wireless tether for root users i can get about 1.0-2.5 max. When i tether my laptop, i can get up to 27 mbps. When i tether to an android tablet, i get great speeds aswell, only tried once and got 10.0. So WTF is wrong with the ipad, iphone, ipod. Please help. (General)

So I managed to install clockworkmod, and rooted by stock rom with superadmin. I installed Wifi Tether for root phones, it works perfectly. I ran across some issues though. There is something strange happening.

I am rooted with the Galaxy Rush. However the Wireless tether app from the market, which requires root, is not working for me. My laptop doesn't see my phone. However, it sees my girlfriends Transform Ultra with the same wireless tether app. :mad:

My wife and I both have Triumph phones with Cm7 10-15 build. We can tether to our laptops , but when we try it to my my wifes android tablet it tethers but kicks us out of tether when you try to transfer data. Her tablet is on ICS, I was wondering if that coul be causing some kin of conflict. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have CM10 latest nightly installed on my T989, and for as long as I remember have used wireless tethering to share my internet with various devices (ipad, surface, touchpad, etc.). Today, I started up the wireless tether on my phone, jumped on my surface and started getting redirected to a T-Mobile splash page advertising Mobile Hotspots. Is this something new? Anyone else experiencing this?

Guys, need some help. I am on AOPK JB ROM and Wifi Tether is supposed to work, et I am having troubles getting it to work on mine. I have used both the built in hot spot as well as Wifi Tether for Root. On the built in hot spot, it will work till the point of showing up on my tablet or other phones.

I havent tried to to tether w/ the stock tether app or download torrents with utorrent (both of which worked 100% on my phone) since before the update. Now I tried last night since my friends internet was out and I can tether but can only load facebook and crap, although active torrents already on the list begin seeding right away. I tried wifi tether and barnacle, neither worked.

apologies if this is already asked and answered - it there a tutorial or published info on what it takes to get Bluetooth Tether to work? I'm running the CM10 Nightlies right now and I have a Blackberry for work that easily support BT tether as a modem under WinXP on my laptop.
