Hi,
A few months ago i started using GO Contacts. Back then, I had my contacts stored on my SIM. Later on, I moved all the contacts to the phone, and deleted them from the SIM. Ever since, every few days, I suddenly see my old SIM contacts in the contact list, and I have to delete them once again.
1. Other contact apps do not show these contacts, only GO contacts.

Hello again! Once again I come here to ask for your help for a problem. the few days since this part my phone has been behaving strangely. Every day at around 1am in the morning the phone it makes alone a factory reset losing all contacts, calendar entries, messages and call log, forcing me to constantly back up all contacts.
This is an odd problem I'm not sure I've seen anyone else have.
So I rooted my phone and of course almost immediately un-installed something I shouldn't have. I can open up my contacts but if I select one, contacts closes itself. I've done a soft and hard factory reset, but that's obviously not going to restore a lot of the stuff that was on there to begin with.
Dear all,
I am facing a strange problem with the contacts . My phone is Samsung S2 OS 4.0.3
When ever i go for a search with letters like q, r or s, the contacts crashes. I had done a complete factory reset and tried. Still the problem is there .
i have only limited apps in the phone.
Can some one give me a clue...

**Sorry, i posted this in the wrong forum, probably belongs better in here**
Hope someone can help with this. Switched off my phone tonight, everything was fine, went out in the car and popped it on charge.
First lets understand what a factory reset does. It removes all USER DATA and restores the phone back to factory settings providing that the phone is not rooted. User data is defined as apps, call logs, contacts, and anything else the user has placed in the phones memory. Stuff that is on the SDCARD is not affected by a factory reset.
Hello.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S Duos running ICS. I had a few contacts having the same last name. Also since i am 24x7 online via the phone i have synced all my accounts to my phone. So it is obvious that my contacts will show the respective merged contacts.
Now here is the problem. I have stored a friend and his mother's contact separately.
On my Android phone* I have three sets of contacts: the SIM card, the phone itself, and Google(R). Can someone explain how all of these interact with each other?
My previous phone was a park-it-pc with win-doze 6.1. I had all of my contacts on SIM, the phone, and whatever ActiveSync does. When I got my 'droid, I simply moved the SIM card and started using the phone.
So i was having a few problems with the new JB update and from what i read a 'factory data reset' might help. so i backed up via kies, erased all data and proceeded to restore. messages came back, call logs but no contacts. i had synced my contacts to gmail awhile back but they don't seem to be there either. any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
