Support sd card will not mount to phone.. help?

http://androidforums.com – OK so I had this phone for a month now and its been fine until one day it says I need to mount my memory card and I did but it will not recognize it and when I look at the storage data on the SD card it says there's 0 memory on it. But I checked and it still had all the memory on it. I used factory reset and it still didnt work. When I click on an app that uses a SD card it says no external storage available. I need help because this Is bugging me out. :( (General)

Has anyone else noticed that the memory is now listed as (System Memory), (Internal Memory), and (SD Card)? Go to settings/storage and there it lists them. Now Root Explorer pulls it up as sd card and _external sd card still, but interesting all the same...

I've recently upgraded my HTC Velocity with the CM10 and AOKP mods and both have been working great.

Prior to this, I had the ICS ROM installed which was posted by Leigh Kennedy (if memory serves).

Anyway, the issue I'm having is with both of the JB ROMs above, the SD Card is not detectable at all.

My phone was working fine with Cyanogenmod Rom for a quite a while now. But I put someone else's memory card (after unmounting my sd card) and it started restarting. I tried to start the phone with my memory card, and even without any memory card at all, but the problem still persists.

Being a newbie at Android, I upgraded my memory card from a 4 gig to a 16 gig yesterday and discovered this problem.

I am trying to mount sdcard/0, which is my internal sd card. I am using a CM10 rom and realized that /sdcard is now /storage/sdcard0 in jelly bean. I am the only one on the CM10 fourm who can't mount his/hers. When I go to settings-storage-usb storage, I click "mount sd card" and the phone freezes, then it says calculating and it disappears.
