Support SD Card suddenly "failed to mount"

http://androidforums.com – What's the go here, I've had a 32Gb Sandisk SD card for months and months, using it for photos, apps, music storage...all of a sudden this morning it's "failing to mount"...I've turned phone off, back on, everything was fine for about an hour, bang, "SD Card failed to mount" and if I click to notification, it wants for FORMAT the card...which one would assume will wipe all my photos and stuff. Any clues on a fix on this which doesn't involve losing all my photos of my recent trip to New York?!?!? :mad: (General)

Dear all,

I am using N7000 Galaxy note with 16GB internal storage and 2 GB device storage. I am on android version 4.1.2 and Build JZO54K.N7000DDLSC

I have searched a lot and tried a lot but have not been able to crack this issue.

All of a sudden, my USB storage has disappeared.

So I'm not sure what exactly I did, but I screwed up my SD card royaly!

I was trying to format it to work with Links2SD, but was being wonky about it, and somehow ended up messing up the SD card. Phone simply says "Removed SD Card: SD Card Removed. Insert a new one."

In Recovery (I have CWM v1.2518.4), if I go to mount sd card, I get "E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0..

HI all

I was wondeing if you can help.

Today, all of a sudden my SD card has stopped working. It has been in use I had music and photos on it. But this morning after being charged last night it seems to have stopped working all togherther.

I have the SD card logo on my notifications bar.

It says 'Bland Card'. I have tried to mount the card in options but it isn't working.

I am trying to mount sdcard/0, which is my internal sd card. I am using a CM10 rom and realized that /sdcard is now /storage/sdcard0 in jelly bean. I am the only one on the CM10 fourm who can't mount his/hers. When I go to settings-storage-usb storage, I click "mount sd card" and the phone freezes, then it says calculating and it disappears.

I recently just moved all my grandson's photos and videos from the internal storage to an sd card we bought for him. We used to use the "Gallery" app to access his photos but that only accesses the internal storage, which was full and the app wouldn't let us in. I was wondering if there was a way to create a shortcut on the home screen for quick access to his photos.

Hi, I'm new here and looking for help please. I mounted my phone on the pc to save my pictures and all of a sudden everything disappeared from my phone. I've always done this and never had any problems. I also lost my music. I took the battery and sd card out and I did this a few times until I actually got my music back. But still no photos or video.
